Meet Ari Seth Cohen
Written by: Caressa Losier
Inspired by his grandmother’s personal style, Ari Seth Cohen created Advanced Style, a fashion blog dedicated to recognizing the beauty of a mature, yet very fashionable community of women who are still using New York City sidewalks as their runways. “I’m not sure if the industry is ready for older models, but I’m here and looking to go to work,” says Jacqueline Murdock, style-veteran and one of the original dancers of the famous Apollo Theatre.
While the standards of beauty are only rising and the models these top designers are selecting are getting younger and younger, these senior fashionistas are venturing off into their own style endeavors and inspiring a community of women of all ages to be truly stylish.
